We made an offer on a home that was accepted in November of 2016, so we put our earnest money down the first week of December and listed our home with Pam. After 8 short weeks and many showings, we accepted a contract on our home and scheduled the closing for March 7, 2017. We scheduled the closing for our new home on the same day. The roller coaster ride that ensued was unexpected by all parties! The sale of our home went off without a hitch (other than a super picky inspection!) and we closed on the 7th. However, the purchase was not nearly as smooth! From a rejected appraisal, to a change in mortgage brokers, to confusion with self-employment income to amending and moving closing dates. Through all of these things, Pam was right by our side – advocating for us, praying for us and keeping us updated. Her patience with the process, her persistence and commitment to us were amazing and a huge blessing, as was Debbie’s support.
In the end, we closed exactly one month later on the new house (after our month of the SEVEN of us living at a friend’s house!) Looking back, I am so thankful that we chose Pam and Sibley Realty to be our Realtor, I would not have wanted to go through that process with anyone else! We are also thankful for the way everything has worked out perfectly and feel so blessed to see how God took care of us through the sale and purchase of homes. My mother is now using Sibley Realty (and Pam) to sell her home so she can move in with us!
